How to Store Blueberries
Blueberries store best when handled as little as possible and kept cold right away. Keep them dry and do not wash until you are ready to use them.

Best storage conditions
Store at 32 to 36 F with high humidity, around 90 to 95 percent, in the dark. Refrigeration is best.
How long it keeps
Fresh blueberries usually keep 1 to 2 weeks. Very ripe berries or berries picked wet often keep for less time.
Storage methods
Sort gently, remove soft or moldy berries, and refrigerate in a shallow container or ventilated clamshell. Do not pack deeply, crush them, or seal them wet. Counter storage is only for very short-term use.
Freezing & preserving
Freeze in a single layer first, then pack into freezer containers. Blueberries also dry well and can be made into jams or pie fillings. For canning, use tested USDA or NCHFP recipes.
Tips
Do not wash until use. Check the container every day and remove any leaking berries so they do not affect the rest.
