About Giant Noble
Giant Noble is an heirloom spinach known for exceptionally large, broad, lightly savoyed leaves on a very big, spreading plant. The thick leaves have a mild, agreeable flavor and deliver high yields per plant. It is moderately slow to bolt in cool weather but will run to seed once heat and long days arrive.
Growing Giant Noble Spinach
Give this variety extra room, spacing plants 8 to 12 inches apart to accommodate its sprawling size, and grow it as a cool-season spring or fall crop. The large leaves can pick up soil, so mulch and wash them well. Harvest by taking outer leaves or cutting the whole plant while young and tender, before bolting begins.
