About Corvair
Corvair is a smooth-leaf hybrid with deep, glossy dark green leaves on upright, high-yielding plants, suited to both baby leaf and full-size bunching. It is especially valued for broad resistance to many races of downy mildew, one of spinach's most troublesome diseases. The clean, flat leaves wash easily and hold good texture in salads.
Growing Corvair Spinach
Direct sow in early spring and late summer, spacing about 2 to 3 inches for baby leaf or 4 to 6 inches for bunching. Its strong disease resistance makes it a good choice for humid or wet conditions where downy mildew is a risk. Keep moisture even and harvest baby leaves at 3 to 4 inches, or cut full plants before warm days bring on bolting.
