About Green Arrow
Green Arrow is a heavy-yielding English shelling pea with long, slender pods that each hold 8 to 11 peas, often carried in double sets near the top of the plant. It offers resistance to downy mildew and fusarium wilt, which makes it a dependable garden performer. The vines are semi-dwarf, reaching roughly 24 to 28 inches.
Growing Green Arrow Pea
The medium-height vines benefit from a short trellis or pea netting to keep the heavy pod set upright and easy to reach. Sow in early spring for a main-season crop, spacing seeds about 2 inches apart. Pick when pods are plump and rounded, and harvest promptly since many of the pods tend to mature together.
