Sarah's Choice Melon
A smaller hybrid melon selected for good sweetness and improved disease resistance. It matures earlier than many larger cantaloupes.

About Sarah's Choice
Sarah's Choice is a hybrid cantaloupe developed by Johnny's Selected Seeds, offering the rich, sweet, aromatic flesh of Ambrosia-type melons together with added disease resistance. It bears heavily netted fruit with deep salmon-orange flesh and carries intermediate resistance to powdery mildew and Fusarium wilt, and it tends to hold flavor well even in cooler conditions.
Growing Sarah's Choice Melon
A good choice where disease pressure or variable weather is a concern, spaced about 18 to 24 inches apart in rows 5 to 6 feet apart. Use drip irrigation and consistent moisture through sizing, then ease back near ripening. Harvest at full slip when the fruit is fragrant and separates easily from the vine.
