About Orange Fantasia

Orange Fantasia is a colored chard selection featuring bright orange stalks and veins against deeply savoyed green leaves. The glowing orange stems make it a striking ornamental as well as a productive edible green with the usual mild chard flavor. It is often grown alongside other single-color chards for a vivid mix of stem tones.

Growing Orange Fantasia Swiss Chard

Space plants about 8 to 12 inches apart in full sun and grow it mainly as a spring and fall crop, as cooler weather brings out the deepest orange color and limits bolting. Keep soil evenly moist and harvest outer leaves at 8 to 12 inches to encourage continued production. Pick stalks while young and tender for the best texture.
