About Seascape

Seascape is a day-neutral variety developed by the University of California that fruits throughout the growing season rather than in a single flush. It produces large, firm, bright-red berries with good sweet-tart flavor and holds up well after picking, making it excellent for fresh use. The plants are adaptable and productive, performing well in many US climates including cooler summer areas.

Growing Seascape Strawberry

Space plants about 12 inches apart and remove early flowers for the first several weeks after planting to let the plants establish before they begin their long fruiting run. As a day-neutral type it fruits from early summer into fall, so feed lightly through the season and keep it consistently watered. Harvest every few days once berries color up fully to keep plants producing.
