Anaheim Pepper
A long green chile pepper with mild heat and good size for roasting. Plants are productive in warm summer gardens.

About Anaheim
Anaheim is a mild New Mexico type chile named for Anaheim, California, producing long, tapered fruit that ripens from green to red. Its low to moderate heat and thick, flavorful flesh make it a classic roasting and chile relleno pepper. The plants are vigorous and set their long pods well in warm climates.
Growing Anaheim Pepper
Space plants about 18 to 24 inches apart in full sun and warm soil, and give them a long, hot season to reach full size. Harvest pods green and firm for roasting, or let them ripen red for a sweeter, slightly hotter flavor. Water evenly to help prevent blossom end rot on the long fruit.
