About Silver King

Silver King is a late-season white sugary enhanced (se) hybrid producing large, well-filled ears of tender, sweet white kernels. Its se genetics give a creamier texture and longer-holding sweetness than older white su types, on tall and vigorous plants.

Growing Silver King Sweet Corn

Because it matures late, give it a long frost-free season and warm soil at planting time. Plant in blocks for good pollination and isolate it from supersweet types, then harvest when the silks brown and the kernels are plump and milky.
