About Honey Select
Honey Select is a yellow triplesweet or synergistic (sy) hybrid, combining sugary enhanced and supersweet kernels for very high sweetness with a tender texture, and it was an All-America Selections winner in 2001. It produces long, full ears on mid-season plants maturing around 80 days.
Growing Honey Select Sweet Corn
For the best kernel fill, plant in blocks of several rows in warm soil with plants spaced 8 to 12 inches apart. Isolate it from standard su corn to protect its sweetness, and harvest when the silks brown and kernels are plump; its synergistic genetics hold sweetness longer after picking than su types.
