Music Garlic
A very popular hardneck with large cloves, strong flavor, and good cold-climate performance. It is one of the best-known garlics for northern growers.

About Music
Music is a porcelain hardneck garlic with large bulbs, easy-to-peel cloves, and a strong, rich flavor that mellows in cooking. It is especially popular in cold-winter regions because of its vigor and reliable performance.
Growing Music Garlic
Plant cloves in fall in most of the US, spacing them generously so the bulbs can size up. Remove the scapes in early summer for larger bulbs, and harvest when several lower leaves have browned but enough upper leaves remain to protect the wrappers.
For planting dates, care, and harvest that apply to all garlic, see the complete guide.
