About Kentucky Wonder

Kentucky Wonder is an old open-pollinated pole bean with long, meaty green pods and excellent fresh bean flavor. Vines are vigorous and productive, and young pods are tender and nearly stringless when picked on time.

Growing Kentucky Wonder Green Bean

Provide a tall trellis or teepee before planting because the vines climb strongly and keep producing if regularly harvested. Pick pods before the seeds swell and strings develop, and keep harvesting through summer to prevent the vines from slowing down.
