About Midori Giant
Midori Giant is a traditional open-pollinated edamame with very large, bright green beans and a rich, sweet, nutty flavor. Bushy plants are productive and tend to set a concentrated crop, which makes it a favorite for home harvest and freezing.
Growing Midori Giant Edamame
Sow in late spring once nights are warm, and keep plants evenly watered during flowering and pod fill for the fullest beans. Plants are usually self-supporting, but wide spacing and good light help the pods size up well, and the best harvest comes when the pods are plump and still fully green.
