Type
early red beet
An early variety that also produces abundant tasty greens. Roots are medium sized and suited to quick spring crops.

Early Wonder is an old beet grown both for roots and especially for vigorous, flavorful greens. The roots are flattened to round and mature relatively early.
Use wider spacing if you want decent root size, or grow it closer for greens production. Pick greens selectively so plants can keep feeding the roots.
For planting dates, care, and harvest that apply to all beets, see the complete guide.
