About Fuerte

Fuerte is a classic pear-shaped avocado with smooth green skin, excellent rich flavor, and relatively good cold tolerance for an avocado. It is a Mexican-Guatemalan hybrid and type B flower.

Growing Fuerte Avocado

Fuerte can fruit alone, but type A pollinizers such as Hass can improve set. Protect young trees from hard freezes, and pick mature fruit before it softens, testing a sample first because skin stays green.
