About Jocheline

Jocheline is a vigorous jostaberry selection with dark berries that combine black currant aroma with gooseberry-like tartness. The thornless shrub is hardy and is generally less troubled by the mildew and rust problems that affect some parent currants and gooseberries.

Growing Jocheline Jostaberry

Grow in Zones 3 to 8 in full sun, allowing ample room for its large growth. It is self-fertile; prune annually to renew fruiting wood and harvest berries when they are completely dark and fully ripe.
